The 2024 opening sale store cattle saw an exceptionally good trade throughout with a new centre record witnessed in the store cattle ring as TJ Thomas & Co, Nantygaseg sold a 17m Lim X steer for £2010. A mixed show of cattle forward which sold well with many heads crossing 300ppk.
A similar show of sheep forward with meatier ewes still selling well. Store lambs continue to sell well with shorter term lambs looking dearer on the week.
