A good entry of lambs forward for our annual Christmas fatstock despite the heavy rain. Congratulations to AL & MA Davies, Pantyneuadd, Parc achieving the champion pen of the day with an exceptional pen of Texel X lambs weighting 41 kg and sold to the judge Mr H Williams for £140. Reserve champion pen was awarded to Cwmni Hendre Eirian with a pen of Texel X lambs weighting 43.5kg and sold to £141. More superlight lambs forward on the day and generally trading either side of 280ppk. Heavier Welsh lambs sold similar on the week and generally trading either side of 305ppk. Crossbred and standard weight lambs a pleasure to sell and returned an average of 320ppk.
