Another cracking sale! A very pleasing trade once again, with lambs proving much easier to sell today. The heavier lambs were especially in demand, with well-fleshed sorts leading the way and achieving some fantastic prices with plenty of pens racing past the 330ppk mark. A big thank you to everyone for their understanding as belly clipping season gets underway, and to all those who did so at home. Special thanks to the lads working hard to get them done in the market today. A reminder: ALL lambs must be belly clipped from now on! Cull ewes also enjoyed another strong trade, with some excellent prices achieved. The meatier ewes perhaps fell just a little short of expectations today, but Welsh ewes were flying, selling exceptionally well and reaching an impressive £123! A great day’s trading all round – thank you to all our vendors and buyers for their continued support - Dyfan.
